I build websites for small businesses in Cairns, and the invoice I kept forgetting to chase was my own. So this is the thing I wanted: I send the invoice, and if it is not paid, the follow up happens without me having to write that text again.
Who it is for: Australian trades and small business, one to a few hundred invoices a month. One person doing the work, the quotes, and the books at 9pm.
What it does: a proper Australian tax invoice with your ABN and GST if you are registered. Your client gets the PDF and a payment link, and pays by card or Direct Debit into your own Stripe account. Then four reminders go out at 3, 10, 21 and 35 days late, each one politer than the last, and they stop the moment someone pays. If a third one goes out, the invoice lands on your phone list with the number ready, because that is the point at which a call works better than an email.
- It is Australian only, on purpose. ABN, GST, tax invoice fields, and AUD. It will not be useful if you are not invoicing in Australia, and I would rather say that than waste your time.
- The money never touches me. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, bank transfers go to your bank, there is no float and I take no percentage of what you are owed.
- Thirty days of everything is free and needs no card. After that, three invoices a month costs nothing forever, or $29 a month gets you up to 1,000.
