A few days ago, I stumbled into a big problem: while AI tools could generate amazing characters, keeping them consistent across scenes — especially for things like kids' storybooks or games — was hard. Every new image would slightly change the face, outfit, or style, breaking the magic. That frustration led to Characto. With Characto, you can create a character once and reuse it across multiple new scenes, while keeping their look, pose, and style consistent. I built it by combining smart prompting, character reference techniques, background removal, and scene compositing — all in a way that’s playful and easy for creators (and even kids) to use. Right now, you can create characters, design scenes, and even start building interactive storybooks.
