ChapterQuest isn't just a reading app — it's a story engine. Kids choose their path and shape every ending, but no two stories ever unfold the same way. What really sets it apart: kids can share the stories they create with the ChapterQuest community, where other kids read them, branch them, and build their own version. It's the engagement loop of scrolling — but your kid is the co-author, not the audience.
Hey Product Hunt! I built ChapterQuest because my kids (9 and 12) were glued to their phones — and everything designed for them was either passive scrolling or boring. I wanted something with the same pull as TikTok, but where they walk away having actually created something.
What we built: branching stories that never unfold the same way twice — and a community where kids share the stories they shape, and other kids branch them further. It's not just 'choose your own adventure.' It's collaborative authorship.
Would love to know: what do your kids actually spend their screen time on? And would they be into this? Happy to answer anything — even the stuff that's still rough around the edges.
