ChainSlayers, a DOOM® blockchain game

Hey everyone! Tim Carambat, co-founder of Mintplex Labs. At Mintplex our whole objective is pioneering the future of NFTs, Blockchain, and making those use cases easy to create without code. Our latest product is https://mintfoundry.xyz - which enables dynamic NFTs without writing code. Over the weekend I had an idea and an epiphany at the same time. 1. Most blockchains suck because they put the blockchain front and center and the game takes a back seat. This leads to a game that is playable, but hardly fun - if it's not a Ponzi 😂. 2. The future of NFTs x Gaming will look like a regular game that gives you portable rewards you can showcase and apply in-game So I hacked together this project over the weekend using the open-source version of DOOM released by John Carmack back in 1995 but modded it to work with some on-chain elements and of course, add some...✨features✨. As you play your stats and even NFT image will change over time. You can also just play for free if you want to reminisce on a simpler time. The NFT aspect is on testnet so this project is 100% free to play and was built only using https://mintplex.xyz and https://MintFoundry.xyz! Hope everyone has fun playing and trying out this tech demo! The future of NFT gaming can be way more than just transferring illiquid tokens back and forth and we are here to make that possible.
