Last year I realized I was spending over $1,200 every month on groceries without knowing where my money was going. After tracking my spending, I reduced it to around $500 per month. That experience inspired me to build CartBudget. It helps you create shopping lists, set weekly or monthly budgets, track your spending as you shop, and review monthly spending reports so you can make smarter decisions and save money over time.
Caught the monthly breakdown view right after checkout and it actually showed me where I was bleeding cash on snacks. The budget alerts are straightforward and don't bug you mid-shopping trip like other apps I've tried.

Honestly love the personal story behind this, feels really relatable. One thing I'd love to see is a price history feature for stuff I buy regularly, so I can actually tell if I'm getting a deal or just paying more at a different store. That'd make the budget tracking way more useful in my opinion.
@arifeinelikgt0 Thank you, Arife! I really appreciate the suggestion. A price history feature is actually something I've been thinking about as well. Being able to see how prices change over time and compare what you've paid at different stores would make budgeting even more useful. It's acutally in my plans to add that feature. I'll definitely keep this in mind as I continue improving CartBudget. Thanks for taking the time to share the idea!
