Capturi turns screen recordings into instant written documentation. Record and edit in your browser with zoom, pan, and webcam blur. AI automatically generates a video summary, chapters, action items, and 1-click Markdown SOPs in a searchable library.

Hey there, I’m Adewale.
I built Capturi because I got tired of a super annoying workflow. Every time I recorded a quick screen video to show a bug or explain a feature, nobody actually wanted to sit through the whole video and I still had to waste time typing out the step-by-step notes for GitHub or Notion afterward. Plus, hitting Loom's 25-video free limit and seeing AI summaries locked behind an extra monthly fee drove me crazy.
So I built Capturi to do both at once. You record and edit right in your browser (with zoom, pan, and webcam blur), and as soon as you finish, it writes a short summary, chapters, and clean Markdown notes you can just copy and paste. You can also password-protect your links and search your old videos by the words you actually spoke inside them.
It's free to use right in the browser with no credit card needed (unlimited local MP4 downloads + 10 cloud videos).
If you have 30 seconds to test a quick recording, the feedback that would help me the most right now is:
- Are the generated Markdown notes actually good enough for you to paste into your daily workflow, or what's missing?
- How does the browser editor feel on your computer is the zoom/pan smooth?
Appreciate you checking it out, let me know what you think!
