I built CaptureKit because I wanted a simple capture tool that didn't need to send screenshots or recordings to a server. It started as a browser extension for full-page screenshots, selected-area captures, and tab recordings. I'm now expanding CaptureKit to Windows with desktop screen and region capture. The principle is simple: your captures stay on your device. No account, no cloud upload, no analytics, and no tracking. I'd love to hear what capture workflow or feature you'd like to see next.
