Love how snappy the native feel is, especially the crop and blur being right there without digging through menus. This actually fits how devs and PMs think when they just need to point at something quickly.
@naciyenk4c thank you. Yes I developed it specifically to be super snappy. I’ll create and document keyboard shortcuts to make it even snappier.
Does it work well for recording short screen captures too, or is it strictly for annotating existing screenshots? Also curious how pricing looks once you outgrow the free tier.
@seldaglbatu49 hi there. Screenshots only at this point. Video is something I’ve been thinking about and might do next.
Also this is freeware. So always free. I’ll open source the code after readability cleaning in late July
It is really good. Just tried it with a screenshot. One minor nit: It will be great if we can save the image in-place without exporting.
@vijayst77 thanks for giving it a whirl! yes that's a good idea. I always copy-to-clipboard. But let me see what you mean.. is the use-case this: open a JPG/PNG file and annotate, then save in place? or paste into Capture from clip board, then annotate then save. In the latter use case, you'd have to "Save as.." because it'd be a new file.
@sojoodi i was thinking of saving the file in-place. Replacing it. Usually, i take a screenshot. It gets stored in the Desktop. Would love to edit and save the edits on the same file.

2 new releases this weekend which drastically improve usability. i've been using Capture a lot for my own work in the last week or so, hence a lot of improvements. i'm doing a lot more product and documentation work, so i'm going to take advantage of it and improve Capture as much as I can.. keep feedback coming please!
