Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm so excited (and a little nervous) to finally launch Capitribe today!
Why I built this
Investing can be lonely. You make a decision, you're not sure if it's right, and you don't really have anyone to bounce ideas off unless you already know other investors. I wanted to build a place where that conversation could actually happen — where sharing an opinion on a stock feels as natural as chatting with friends.
What Capitribe does today
🗣️ Community discussions — share your investment thesis, debate ideas, and learn from other investors in real time
📊 Simulated portfolio — test your strategies risk-free before putting real money on the line
🤖 AI stock analysis — get quick, data-backed insights to support your research
📰 News feed — stay on top of what's moving the market, all in one place
Where we're headed
This is just the starting point. My long-term vision is to turn Capitribe into a full investing ecosystem — a single platform where you can research, discuss, simulate, and eventually trade any asset class, all in one place. Today's launch is the community + insights layer; the marketplace layer comes next.
I'm building this solo, so genuinely every piece of feedback matters to me right now. I'd love to know:
What would make you actually stick around and post in an investing community?
Which asset class should we prioritize opening up first?
Thanks so much for checking it out — I'll be in the comments all day answering questions! 🙏

A watchlist or alert system would be huge here, being able to tag an asset and get notified when a followed analyst posts a new thesis on it would keep me from scrolling endlessly. Right now if someone I follow writes about NVDA days later I might miss it entirely.

@uurtqst Thank you so much for the feedback! You’re absolutely right—a dedicated watchlist and alert system would be a game-changer for tracking assets efficiently. We’re definitely adding this to our development roadmap to ensure you won't miss any updates on the assets you follow. Thanks for helping us improve Capitribe!

Would love to see a built-in paper-trading tracker that links to each thesis you post, so followers can see how the analyst's calls actually played out over time. Adds accountability and makes the feed way more useful than just opinions floating around.

@ravzaerbeyler Thank you so much for this incredible feedback! I love the idea of adding a paper-trading tracker to bring more accountability.
To execute this, I'm thinking about implementing a strict rule for Analyst accounts: once a thesis or call is posted, it cannot be edited or deleted. This ensures all data remains transparent for tracking their true Win Rate over time.
However, for regular user accounts, we will still allow editing and deleting to keep the platform flexible and user-friendly for everyday social features.
What do you think about this hybrid approach? Would love to hear your thoughts!
