CalcCaddy is a free collection of project, automotive, and 3D-printing calculators. Each tool runs in the browser, explains its formula and assumptions, and links to a sourced worked example. Selected material calculators also show regional planning ranges without pretending to be a supplier quote.
Hi Product Hunt — I built CalcCaddy because too many online calculators return a confident number without showing what created it.
CalcCaddy currently includes 20 free calculators and 19 practical guides covering concrete, gravel, roofing, fencing, decks, flooring, paint, stairs, generators, EV charging, tire sizes, and 3D-print pricing. The calculations run in the browser, the formulas and assumptions are visible, and no account is required.
For material projects, I also added regional planning ranges so a visitor in Virginia does not see exactly the same cost context as someone in California. These are clearly labeled estimates rather than live supplier quotes.
I would especially value feedback on which calculator is missing, which input is confusing, or which result would be more useful in a different format.
