Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Cabinet Scan because I moved to Germany and drowned in paper, such as Nebenkostenabrechnungen, Kündigungsfristen, insurance renewals, tax forms, each one demanding I notice a date buried on page 2 or pay for it later. Scanning apps could turn the pile into PDFs. None of them told me what was actually in the pile, or what I still owed a response to. So Cabinet Scan scans a document, reads it on-device, gives it a real name and a short summary, and files it; no account needed, works fully offline. If you turn on AI analysis, it goes further: it builds a private knowledge graph of the people, accounts, and obligations across your documents, so “who's my landlord" or "what renews this month" has an actual answer, and flags the stuff worth a second look before it becomes a problem. The AI backend is something I run myself; it's stateless (no database, no accounts), keeps only anonymous load logs, and is hosted in the EU. On-device mode needs none of it and works completely offline. It's free, no ads, no subscriptions, still actively worked on.
