I’m a solo developer from South Korea,
and I created byeWatch after getting tired of installing separate apps for every sensor and time-related tool.
I wanted to combine the compass, barometer, altimeter, world clock, sunrise tracker, stopwatch, chronograph, and magnetic-field detector into one coherent experience—without making it feel like another ordinary utility dashboard.
That led me to a mechanical pocket-watch interface. You can rotate the crown, press the pushers, and swipe the dial to switch between instruments. Analog displays make the app enjoyable to explore, while digital panels provide precise values, graphs, and history.
The biggest challenge was balancing the character of a mechanical watch with the clarity expected from a practical sensor app.
I’d love to know:
• Does the watch-style interaction feel intuitive?
• Which instrument would you use most often?
• What would make byeWatch more useful to you?
Thank you for checking out my solo project! ⌚️
