Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We built Buselligence because we believe AI should be a platform everyone can build on — not just a collection of closed tools.
The Buselligence Project is an open-source, MIT-licensed AI development platform that brings together AI chat, agents, MCP integrations, code generation, and multi-model support in one self-hosted experience.
We’re building toward a future where anyone can connect their own models, tools, and workflows without vendor lock-in.
A few things we’d love your feedback on:
• What would you build with an open AI platform?
• Which MCP integrations would be most valuable?
• What workflows do you wish AI could handle today?
The project is open source, and we’d love for the community to shape where it goes next.

Finally tried Buselligence for a quick MCP experiment and was pleasantly surprised how smooth the setup was. Bringing my own API keys without dealing with vendor lock-in feels like the right call for any serious dev work.
Love the MIT license and the MCP focus, that alone sets it apart. One thing that would make it even more useful for me is a built-in cost tracker that shows real-time spend per agent and per LLM provider, since I'm juggling multiple API keys and need to see where the budget actually goes.

Big update today:
Buselligence now uses GPT-5.6 models as the default OpenAI core.

Finally tried Buselligence and the MCP tool connections just clicked without any fiddly config. Liking that I can bring my own API keys instead of being locked into one provider.

Love the open source architecture callout. Keeping the infrastructure fully open means we can build custom enterprise extensions safely. congrats @austinbuhl
