Hi Product Hunt, we made Burnrate for Jira teams that log time in Jira but cannot see what that time costs. Jira knows who worked on what, but not the money, so budgets end up in a spreadsheet that gets checked at month end, when it is too late to act.
Burnrate prices every worklog from a rate card (a default rate, roles and people, with dated rates so past costs never change) and tracks budgets for a project, epic, fix version or any JQL query, in money or hours, with pace, run-out date and a forecast. There are reports by person, epic or month, CSV export and a Cost panel on each work item. It is built on Atlassian Forge, and there is an optional Tempo Timesheets connection (beta).
It is free for up to 10 users. We would really like feedback on two things: which budget view you would actually check every week, and what is missing before you would use it on a real project. Thanks for taking a look.
