Whenever you want to build a real-time app, you usually end up wrestling with massive Node.js node_modules, setting up complicated web-sockets, and handling state synchronization manually. It's a huge waste of time. I decided to fix this by combining the extreme, blazing-fast performance of Bun with the robust, real-time data sync capabilities of Electric SQL. Everything is fully containerized with Docker, so you can spin up a fully reactive, local-first web application in just 5 seconds. It’s completely open-source, and I’m planning to actively develop and maintain it.
