Budget Base: Track your spending without giving up your privacy

Hi everyone, I'm Kevin, the solo founder of Budget Base. I'm not a traditional developer. This started when I asked myself "why do apps meant to help people save money charge so much?" I had some ideas from tools I'd built for myself in Excel, and I made it happen from there. The Expense Tracker is a privacy-first alternative to apps like Mint, Monarch, and Rocket Money. Instead of connecting your bank account, you just upload a CSV statement. Your files are never stored, and it costs a fraction of what those apps charge. I keep the price low intentionally. As Budget Base grows I'd love to bring costs down even further, but for now a small subscription keeps the lights on and lets me keep improving it. My favorite features are the multi-loan payoff calculator, which handles multiple debts simultaneously using avalanche or snowball method, and the articles page, which rewards learning with achievement badges.
