Browser Use Skills

Turn any website into a reliable API with 1 prompt
Browser Use Skills lets you turn any website into a reusable API, no official API required. 1 prompt or 1 demonstration and we reverse-engineer the HTTP calls into a clean API. Need to download a song? Get 1000 posts in seconds? Generate songs on Suno? Pull videos from social media? Create leads in Salesforce?

What do you think? …

Saurav Panda

Hey Product Hunt! πŸ‘‹

We built Browser Use Skills because we kept running into the same problem: the API we needed didn't exist.

Suno AI? No public API. YouTube? Rate-limited and restrictive. Half the tools we wanted to automate had no programmatic access at all.

So we asked: what if you could just show an AI agent how to do something once, and it would reverse-engineer the entire flow into a reusable API?

That's exactly what Browser Use Skills does.

You set a goal, record yourself doing the task (or let our agent figure it out), and we turn that into a hosted endpoint you can call whenever you want.

We've been using this internally for weeks! we've already built 20+ APIs for sites we never thought we'd be able to automate.

Would love your feedback. What's the first API you'd build?

Chris Messina
@saurav_panda3 can you build an API for Product Hunt? They seem to have added Cloudflare flak so it’s harder to scrape now. 🫀
Saurav Panda

@chrismessinaΒ haha, yes when you create an Skill for product hunt you do need to pass the cloudflare cookie. We are gonna have something which fixes this soon!

Alex Spring

I've been following Browser Use for a while now. It's great to see solutions being implemented that don't require expensive AI inference at each workflow API call.

My concerns and feedback πŸ‘‡

How does Browser Use (especially Skills) handle anti-bot measures that most valuable data access on sites employ?
- Browser Use will not work across things like DataDome
- Skills platform inherits this issue to a larger extent (No Kasada and others)
- Skills platform requires user to fetch cookies each session for antibots, which does not work
- This limits use cases to less valuable workflows since valuable web data is guarded behind complex fingerprinting

Look forward to seeing how things develop and what's next!

Aitor Mato

@alex_springΒ That's the magic about skills. As you mention, some workflows require anti-bot cookies, or sessions, we are seamlessly integrating all the Skills with the Browser Use library, to solve all those problems.

Browser Use agent will be able to solve the anti-bot captcha or provide the necessary session cookies by using our existing Stealth infra or Profile-Sync that we offer in our Cloud, and after that, Skills can be called, speeding up the automation and reducing cost.

What you mention is important, but also worth to say that not all websites require this. If that's needed we also have you covered tho :P

I would say that the symbiosis between Skills & the Browser Use library make web automation unstoppable.

Alex Spring

@reformedotΒ This is cool, but doesn't solve the problem with fingerprinting.

The Browser Use Cloud options do not solve stealth issues on a few anti-bots and Skills would inherit all these issues (e.g. G2.com, Capterra.com, etc). I'm confused how integrating Cloud functionalities into skills solves any of these issues, since Cloud has them too.

You're right, not all websites need advanced fingerprints, and in this scenario I see Browser Use Cloud & Skills being great solutions. My concern is that often valuable data is guarded behind difficult fingerprinting, which Browser Use cannot access.

Aitor Mato

@alex_springΒ Our browser is fully patched, what you see is a proxy ban, we are working on improving the quality of the used proxies too.

Other Cloudflare or PerimeterX websites work flawlessly, tho.

But yes, sooner than later all those stealth issues will be solved making Skills useful even for those hard-protected websites. Thanks for testing the product Alex!

Daniel Lee
This is cool. But is the underlying technology using Browser Use? All of the existing Browser Use-based platforms seem to take time to complete a simple task I wonder how fast the API responds and what’s the rate limit
Saurav Panda

@daniellee2309Β Creation uses browser use but the API doesnt, thats the beauty of this product!

Chilarai M

I tried the tool, and it really performed well. Would love to keep using it in the future.

How can i make it work when something is behind a login wall?

Aitor Mato

@chilaraiΒ Thanks for trying the product πŸš€

We are actively working in the Browser Use library native integration. You will be able to solve all your auth issues by combining Browser Use agent with the Skills, improving your automations by 10x!

If you need to be logged, Browser Use agent will login (you can even benefit from some of our cool auth features such as Profile-Use or the secrets vault), and then your fresh skill will be used with all the auth headache sorted πŸ‘Œ

Tycho Svoboda
Just tried it out, works like a charm
Aitor Mato

@tycho_svobodaΒ Thanks for trying! What did you automate btw πŸ‘€

Reagan Hsu

This is an absolute game-changer for me. I now use skills every day to grab all of the latest news from Hacker News and other news sources deterministically, and all it took was a single prompt.

Congratulations on the launch πŸŽ‰

@shubham_pratapΒ Thanks!
