Hey Product Hunt š
I never wanted an AI assistant. I wanted a crew.
Every assistant I tried was the same: one bot, no memory, trapped in one app, starting from zero every conversation. The second a task got real ā research this, draft that, check on it tomorrow, remind me Friday ā I was the one holding all the context. The "assistant" was autocomplete with a chat box.
So I built Brigade: a personal AI crew you actually own. Not one model ā a team of agents that report to each other through a real org hierarchy (I call it the Pride š¦). One takes your request, delegates, and they get on with it.
What makes it click:
š§ Tideline ā a real long-term memory framework. Your crew remembers you, your projects and your decisions across every conversation.
š¬ Lives in your chat apps ā WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack and more. Not a terminal you have to visit ā it's wherever you already talk.
šļø Joins your meetings ā your crew can sit in on Google Meet, Zoom or Teams: listen, take notes, and follow up afterward.
ā° Works on a schedule ā cron jobs, reminders, agents that wake up and act without you.
š Connected ā 1,000+ app integrations, custom skills, sub-agents for parallel work.
š Open-source & self-hosted ā it runs on your machine. Your crew, your data.
But here's where it's really going. Brigade is the brain ā a headless gateway running your crew. Everything else is just a face for it.
Today that's your terminal, your chat apps and your meetings. Rolling out now: web, desktop and a phone app. And the future I'm building toward ā your crew on your watch, whispering through your Meta Ray-Ban glasses, standing in front of you in Meta Quest. One brain, every device and channel, one shared memory (Tideline) so wherever you reach them, they remember the same you.
It started as a single assistant. It grew a hierarchy when I needed delegation, grew memory when I needed it to remember, grew channels and meetings when I wanted it with me everywhere. Now it's growing a body.
Would love your feedback ā and I'm curious: where would you want your crew first ā your group chats, your meetings, or your glasses?
@bhasvanth_dev9380Ā "I never wanted an assistant, I wanted a crew" is a great way to frame this. Persistent, multi-agent, with memory that survives across tasks is exactly where the one-bot-no-memory tools fall down. Strong launch.
One idea while it's live: your PH launch is still editable, and you can add a video to the gallery. A clip holds attention far better than screenshots, people stop and watch. So I made you one from your site, free. It's fully whitelabel, no FoxPlug branding anywhere, it's yours to post as your own. Edit the launch, drop it in the gallery: https://foxplug.com/v/brigade-3a861f1f
I make these with FoxPlug, which beyond launch clips turns whatever you ship into guided tours of each feature release, animated GIFs, short social posts, long-form for a blog, and full product walkthroughs, all from your real updates. foxplug.com, building in public, loudly.
