I built Breakly around a simple problem that I kept noticing in myself and in people who work at a computer all day: We get so focused on work that we forget to take care of ourselves. We forget to drink water. We forget to look away from the screen. We forget to stand up. We forget to walk. And sometimes we don't realize how long we've been sitting until the workday is almost over. So I wanted to build something simple that could help. What Breakly does 💧 Create reminders for water breaks 👀 Schedule eye-rest breaks 🚶 Get reminded to walk 🧘 Add stretching/posture breaks ⏱️ Customize intervals and durations 📅 Set working hours and active days 🔕 Pause breaks when you need uninterrupted time 🖥️ Run quietly from the system tray One feature I especially wanted to get right was the break itself. Instead of showing another notification that you can instantly dismiss, Breakly gives you a dedicated fullscreen break experience. And there's a 60-second skip lock—you get at least a minute to actually step away before the Skip button becomes available. The goal isn't to make you work more. It's to help you build a healthier rhythm while you work. Breakly is currently available for Windows and macOS.
