We built BrahmAstra because creating an AI film still feels like stitching together 10 different tools.
You write in one app, generate characters somewhere else, plan shots manually, jump between video models, lose continuity, regenerate things you already approved, and somehow try to remember every creative decision along the way.
We kept running into the same problem ourselves: a prompt can generate a shot, but it can’t manage a production.
BrahmAstra started as an internal workflow for AI filmmaking and VFX. As we used it, the idea evolved from “put multiple AI models in one place” into something much bigger: an AI production system that understands the project from story → screenplay → scenes → characters → shots → generation → edit.
A big part of what we’re building is around continuity and creative decisions — keeping characters, locations, props, camera choices and approved decisions consistent instead of starting from scratch with every generation.
The goal is simple:
stop making filmmakers operate AI tools, and let them focus on making the film.
We’re still early, and that’s exactly why we’re launching here. I’d especially love feedback from filmmakers, VFX artists, AI creators and anyone who has tried to build something longer than a few disconnected AI shots.
