Hey Product Hunt! I'm Bryan, solo builder of BorderBudget. I built this because I was tired of guessing — guessing if a cafe's WiFi could handle a client call, guessing how long airport security would take, guessing whether I'd blown through my 90 days in the Schengen zone. Every travel app I tried was either generic tourist stuff or a spreadsheet I had to fill in myself. So I built the tool I wished existed: a map where every WiFi rating, wait time, and cost estimate comes from someone who was actually there — not a scraped listing. Plus a Schengen tracker and trip budget baked in, so you're not juggling five apps just to work from another country responsibly. The biggest shift during development was realizing the crowdsourced data itself — not any single feature — is the real product; everything else is just a good way to collect and surface it.
