Groups organising weddings, schools moving 40 students to the airport at 5am, corporates booking executive transfers — they were stuck making calls, chasing quotes, and hoping things showed up. There was no product designed for the person who needs certainty before the day arrives. That was the problem we set out to solve. Not faster rides, but more predictable ones. When you're booking transport for something that matters — a flight, a wedding, a school trip — you shouldn't be refreshing an app hoping a driver accepts. You should already know your vehicle, your price, and your pickup time. That's what Board is built around. Our thinking evolved a lot along the way. We started focused on making the booking experience clean and transparent — no hidden fees, no surprises at the kerb. But as we grew, we realised the product also needed to hold the service standard, not just the transaction. That meant building in real accountability: one party the customer deals with, one party that can act if something goes wrong. Not a marketplace where you're on your own if the driver doesn't show. The tagline we landed on — "Scheduled Transport, Made Easy" — sounds simple, but it took a while to get there. It's really shorthand for everything above.
