BlackArgus Focus: Scam Protection for Content Creators

The idea for BlackArgus started after I watched a video from a crypto creator who spoke openly about the problem of scam comments on her channel. After every new video, she had to spend hours manually deleting scam comments, often without being able to keep up. Shortly after removing them, new scam comments would appear again. It was repetitive, time-consuming, and clearly not a scalable way to protect a community. I also had a personal reason to take the problem seriously. I nearly became the victim of a scam myself when I first encountered a more subtle and convincing scam attempt. That experience showed me how difficult these scams can be to recognize, especially when they are designed to look legitimate. That was the point where I decided to build BlackArgus: a tool that gives creators real support by taking over much of the repetitive moderation work while keeping important security decisions under their control. The approach evolved significantly during development. What started as a way to detect obvious scam comments became a broader creator-security system focused on scam patterns, fake profiles, malicious links, and coordinated scam funnels.
