Hey Product Hunt! I built BitClaw after trying NanoClaw (inspired by Karpathy's post) and finding it harder to grok than I expected - lots of multi-channel logic, and it felt sluggish from spinning up a new container on every message. So I built something 4x smaller that keeps a single always-on Docker session. The whole agent is ~1,500 lines of TypeScript. You message it on Telegram, it checks your email, manages your calendar, runs scheduled tasks, and can add new capabilities by modifying its own source code. The architecture is deliberately boring: one Node.js process on the host, one Docker container running Claude, and they talk through atomic JSON files. No databases, no message queues. Setup: clone the repo, run claude, type /setup. It walks you through everything - API keys, Telegram bot, container build, launchd service. Every source file is listed in the README with line counts.
