BirthMark is an e-commerce platform for tattoo art that leverages blockchain. That means two things: one, for the first time enthusiasts will enjoy the benefits of online tattoo trading, and two: trading tattoos online will dramatically boost sales globally.

I've been working in the tattoo industry since 1999, on and off. I also thought a lot about why we buy everything online but not tattoos. I have built a site to sell tattoos online before. But then realized the system was crude and there's no provenance. As an artist, consumer and builder, I'm convinced that NFT technology can change this paradigm and unlock online sales for an entire industry. Carrying tattoo sales online is tricky, since it requires multiple transactions. We have innovated a platform that can carry out all real life transactions online, tracks tattoos with immutable records and creates art that can last for generations. There's a lot to talk about, but I think this is a good start to receive some suggestions from other builders and start the conversation.
