It’s also smart to diversify your identity, to invest your self-esteem and what you care about into a variety of different areas — business, social life, relationships, philanthropy, athletics — so that when one goes south, you’re not completely screwed over and emotionally wrecked." I loved this idea on an episode of the Tim Ferris show. It’s one of those ideas that are so obvious yet so elusive. When you hear it, it makes you feel like you just woke up. Identity diversification. This lead to me building something for people who want to learn beyond what their day job offers.
