Hi Product Hunt, I'm Eliabe, the maker of BetterZap.
I built it for small businesses that live on WhatsApp: clinics, salons, shops and freelancers. They answer the same questions all day, and a client who doesn't get a follow-up on time usually goes somewhere else.
What it does:
Auto-reply: choose a ready-made flow for your kind of business (a menu with options, hours, address, "talk to a person") and it answers while you work. You can edit any model or write your own. When a client needs a person, the conversation goes to you.
Scheduling: write a message once, pick the day and time, and it goes out through WhatsApp Web. Each message is sent once and has a clear status, and if something is uncertain it asks you instead of resending.
Light CRM: your own pipeline stages, notes and follow-up dates, so you see who needs a message today.
How it works: it's a Chrome extension that uses WhatsApp Web, so you keep your own number and there's no API or new account. Chrome has to be open and WhatsApp Web signed in for it to reply and send. Your contacts, messages and notes stay in your browser. The optional Premium plan adds an AI chatbot that answers from a knowledge base you write, and it is the one feature where that text and the latest messages of a chat pass through our server to the AI provider.
Pricing: free up to 20 messages a day, plus a 7-day trial with no card and no daily limit. Pro and Premium are paid plans, listed on the pricing page.
You can try the auto-reply in a simulation without installing anything: https://betterzap.app/?utm_source=producthunt&utm_campaign=launch
I'd love your feedback, especially on three things: which kind of business should have a ready-made model that doesn't yet, what you'd need before trusting an automatic reply with a real client, and anything confusing in the first five minutes. I'll answer every comment today.
