Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Backlog Zero started with an embarrassing discovery — I had 237 duplicate games I owned on multiple platforms without realizing it. I'd buy something on Steam during a sale, claim it free on Epic a few months later, then almost buy it again somewhere else. Spreadsheets helped for a while, but they don't sync, don't fetch cover art, and don't tell you anything interesting about your gaming habits. I wanted one app that could see everything — every platform, every duplicate, every unplayed game — without requiring an account, a subscription, or sending my data anywhere. That app didn't exist the way I wanted it, so I built it. What started as a duplicate detector grew into something much bigger. The Statistics dashboard, Identity Dossier, Backlog Picker, session tracking, and price-watched Wishlist all came from asking "what else would actually be useful here?" over the course of building. Backlog Zero is fully offline and works on Mac and Windows. Your library data lives in a file on your machine and goes nowhere.
