Backchannels helps SaaS teams skip cold outbound and sell directly to verified software buyers. Access a database of 225,000 software decision-makers, filtered to your exact ICP and synced straight into Salesforce or HubSpot. Instead of paying for another annual data subscription, you only pay per contact - no contract, no subscription, no wasted spend.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Joe, founder of Backchannels.
This one came out of a problem I kept hitting in software GTM: every "lead database" is built for everyone. You pay thousands for ZoomInfo or Apollo, then spend half your time filtering out manufacturing companies, dentists, and local plumbers to find the SaaS buyers you actually sell to. The data is bloated, you're locked into an annual contract, and your reply rates sit at 1 to 2 percent because you're blasting a generic "tech" list.
So we built the opposite of that.
Backchannels is a database of 225,000 software decision-makers and nothing else. You filter by region, function, and company size, preview the matches for free, and only spend a credit on the contacts you actually want to keep. No subscription. No contract. It's 8 cents a contact, and you push straight to Salesforce, HubSpot, or Outreach in one click.
The thing I'm most proud of is the "browse before you buy" part. You should never pay for data you haven't seen. So you can run your filters, see your match count, and look at who's in there before spending a single credit.
A few teams have already replaced their Apollo and ZoomInfo subscriptions with it, which is the best signal I could ask for at this stage.
Would love your honest feedback, especially from anyone running outbound or ABM. What would make this a no-brainer for your team? And if you've ever rage-quit a data subscription, tell me the story, I want to hear it.

the pay per contact model is smart for smaller teams like ours. one thing that would help us decide faster though is showing the average match rate or data accuracy percentage for each filter before we pull a list. like how many of those 225k are actually verified in the last 30 days.

@tahsin0lsc Yes I believe that this is the correct way to price any contact database.
Great feedback we'll try to implement that data accuracy filter

Love the pay-per-contact model, way more aligned with actual usage than yet another bloated subscription. One idea though: would be great if you could layer in intent signals like recent hiring sprees or tech stack changes so we know which verified buyers are actually in market right now, not just who fits the ICP on paper.

@narintretmota2 Yes intent signals are important factor especially when surfacing the highest probable buyers in market at any exact moment. Appreciate the feedback.

honestly the per contact pricing is what got me, way more practical than another annual subscription for data i might not even use. synced straight to hubspot too which is huge

@farukv5io The CRM is the single source of truth and that is the goal to not have any data discrepancy by introducing other destinations
