AVIF to PNG is a focused browser tool for when an AVIF image cannot be opened or used elsewhere. Paste, drag and drop, or select one file, then get a PNG download in seconds. Conversion runs entirely in your browser with the Canvas API: images are never uploaded or stored. No installation, account, or subscription is required. Once loaded, it can work offline. It solves one format-compatibility problem without the complexity of a full image editor.
Would love to see batch conversion as an option, even just dropping in a folder of AVIFs and getting individual PNGs or a zip out. Right now it's a one-at-a-time loop which gets old fast for anyone cleaning up a photo library.
Hello @ayhannalkesen Thank you for your feedback. We have launched a new version that supports folder, with a maximum of 10 files being converted simultaneously.
Being able to drag in a folder of AVIFs and batch convert them all to PNG at once would be a huge timesaver, especially when working with mixed-format image sets.
