It's always the same scenario when hosting a party with friends: People want to play some of their own songs. However when you have a Sonos sound system, I'd have to hand over my iPhone for them to queue their songs. Many people are not familiar with the Sonos app (which can be hard to navigate compared to apps like Spotify & Apple Music), so many friends need help. Cherry on top: they replace the currently playing song with their song, as they forget to use the "Queue" feature. Another problem I ran into was people changing the volume using the hardware button. I as the host should be the only one allowed to change the volume to ensure not disturbing my neighbours. Auxcord monitors all your speakers, ensuring the volume is set to the desired volume, as well as automatically resuming music again, if somebody hits the hardware pause button. The project currently only works with Spotify & Sonos, however if there is interest for a Spotify-only mode (that works well with Bluetooth speakers), it's something I could build
