Aux Control turns the aux cord into a group vote. Everyone queues a song, the room votes, the winner plays next. Guests join free with no app or account — hosts connect Apple Music to play full tracks.

Hey Product Hunt — built this after one too many parties where the aux cord turned into a fight over whose playlist wins. Aux Control makes it a vote instead: guests join with just a link or QR code (no app, no account), queue a song, and the room decides what plays next.
Jukebox mode works instantly for anyone with zero setup. Hosts who want full tracks (not previews) can connect Apple Music.
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who tries it at an actual party this weekend — that's the real test.
Pulled this out at a small hangout last weekend and it was honestly the easiest way to settle the "what's next" debate without anyone fishing for the cord. Loved that nobody had to download anything.
The no-app-needed guest flow is genuinely clever, especially the QR code joining with just a nickname. Smart way to lower the barrier so people actually participate instead of bouncing off a download prompt.
Finally tried this at a small get-together and it actually worked better than I expected, no one had to download anything which was the whole reason we tried it. Voting was quick and the song that won genuinely fit the vibe.
This is such a fun idea for parties. One thing that would be really helpful is adding a way to ban or skip a song mid-vote if the room isn't feeling it, since right now once it's queued there's no way to undo a bad pick without starting over.
the apple music requirement might lose a lot of potential hosts since most of my friends use spotify. adding spotify connect support would make this way more accessible to everyday households and group hangs
