I built Aurora because I love the terminal, not because I wanted to replace it with another AI chat interface.
I wanted a terminal that could understand what I was trying to do, work alongside my agents, and help me get things done without making me leave the environment I already love.
That little idea turned into a terminal with an integrated editor, Git GUI, multiple agent sessions, and Aura, its built-in AI agent. And yes, Aura can FARM for you. 🌾
Aurora is free, open source, and available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Bring your own AI provider, use free models, or run models locally with Ollama.
It's still a work in progress, and that's exactly why I'm launching it. I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you're someone who practically lives in the terminal.
