Built in 5-6 hours: a live pixel grid where anyone claims a permanent ad spot for $3, one time, no subscription. Pan and zoom like Google Maps, watch spots appear live. Pick boxes, upload your image, add a link, check out, no account needed. Get a private link to edit anytime. Why one-time pricing: every ad platform charges monthly forever. Built for indie builders and small products wanting cheap, permanent visibility. Would love your support and feedback!
I've always loved the idea behind the old Million Dollar Homepage, a static grid where people bought pixels for $1. But it never felt interactive or alive, just a flat image with links baked in.
I wanted to see if that same idea could work as an actual live product: pan and zoom like Google Maps, watch new spots appear in real time, no account needed to buy or manage your spot.
The part that took the most thought wasn't the buying flow, it was making sure two people can never accidentally claim the same pixels at the same time. I ended up building a temporary lock during checkout plus a second conflict check right before a purchase goes live, so ownership stays airtight.
Built this in about 5-6 hours over a weekend. Still very early days, mostly open canvas right now. Would genuinely love feedback, especially on whether one-time, forever pricing makes sense for something like this, or if it needs a different model entirely.
