how does the ATS score actually hold up against real applicant tracking systems, and does it pull job postings in real time or is there a refresh delay?

@lhan1427713 Great questions. On the ATS score: real ATSs (Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo…) keep their algorithms proprietary, so we don't pretend to replicate any specific vendor. What we score is the layer they all share: exact keyword/skill match against the job description, standard section headings, parseable formatting, and strong quantified bullets — the things that decide whether you survive parsing and the recruiter's keyword screen. The score comes with the matched/missing keyword lists and formatting warnings, so you can see why it's the number it is, not just a vanity %. Exports are clean single-column PDFs built to parse correctly.
On freshness: searches query the job boards live at search time. Identical searches repeated within the hour are served from a shared cache (keeps it fast and keeps API costs sane), and cached listings expire after a few hours — so worst case you're about an hour behind on a repeated query, and "Load more" always fetches fresh pages. Happy to go deeper on either! If anything feels clunky in that flow, I genuinely want to hear it 🙏

The ATS scoring right next to the tailored resume is such a smart touch, you can actually see how the rewrites move the needle before hitting submit. Nice execution on keeping the whole flow in one view.

@medineasl16675 Thank you! That loop was exactly the design goal — tailor, re-score, and actually see the delta before you send anything, instead of guessing whether the rewrite helped. Keeping search → tailoring → score → export in one view came from my own frustration with juggling five tools during a job hunt. If anything feels clunky in that flow, I genuinely want to hear it 🙏

The ATS keyword score is genuinely useful, not just a vanity number. Also nice that it pulls from LinkedIn and Indeed at the same time so I am not tab-juggling all afternoon.

@tlay1638040 Thanks! Yes — the feed aggregates LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor (via one aggregator) alongside The Muse, Remotive, Adzuna and company career boards (Greenhouse/Lever), then de-duplicates and ranks everything against your actual resume, so one search covers what used to be six tabs. Glad the keyword score is earning its place — it's built to tell you what to fix, not just give you a number. If anything feels clunky in that flow, I genuinely want to hear it 🙏
