We felt like something was missing from the platforms we already use. If we liked something, the algorithm would keep feeding us similar content for the next 15–20 minutes. We wanted something different — a place where we could be ourselves without worrying about being judged, where our thoughts could be welcomed instead of challenged. We hope Asterful feels like home to people who, even when they aren’t technically left out, sometimes feel left out. A place for the curious ones, the people with a thousand thoughts buzzing through their minds at once, where they can pour them out without restraints. The idea became real after we joined a fellowship and found a safe place of our own. We met amazing people who cheered for us, supported us, and encouraged us even when we wanted to stop. One day, we thought, “Why not build a place where everyone can find meaningful connections like we did?” And that’s how Asterful came to be. If someone leaves Asterful feeling safe, heard, and like they belong, we’ll feel like we succeeded. ❤️
