Hi everyone! I’m Luca, a backend developer currently living in Bali. What inspired me? Living here, I'm surrounded by geckos—they are incredibly adaptable and always around. That sense of adaptability inspired my approach to this project. I wanted to build something that could handle complex tasks automatically, just like the AI agents that have transformed my own workflow. The problem? I saw a gap: many websites have great content, but it stays "static." Visitors have to dig for information, and businesses lose leads because they can’t respond in real-time. I wanted to bridge that gap without the enterprise-level setup headache. How it evolved: I built AskGecko as a solo project, using it to solve my own need for an always-active assistant. My process really accelerated by leaning into modern AI tools (like Claude Code) which helped me bridge my own knowledge gaps and execute faster than I ever thought possible as a solo dev.
