Most advertising starts with brands deciding where they want to be seen. I wanted to try the opposite direction: what if people could tell brands where they actually want to see them? That idea became AskBrand. You can request advertising from a brand you care about and see how many other people made the same request. Instead of advertising being purely brand-driven, AskBrand gives people a way to signal where they want brands to show up. I built AskBrand as a solo founder, from the product and database to the backend, authentication, and deployment. This is an early version, and I'm launching it to see whether the idea resonates.
