AsisteMás sends automated email reminders (24h, 48h, 72h before appointments), enables one-click confirm/cancel, reduces no-shows by up to 83%, recovers lost revenue, and saves staff time. I started with a basic MVP focused on simplicity; setup in minutes, not hours. Then I learned from users: added CSV import for bulk appointments, implemented soft delete to preserve data for analytics, and built reminder tracking to avoid duplicates. Before launch, I conducted a security audit, fixed CORS, XSS, and input validation issues, and made security a priority from day one. I launched with a free tier (10 appointments/month), clear pricing tiers for growth, and built for Spain with proper timezone and localization. I learned to start simple and iterate based on real feedback. Security must be built in from day one. User experience matters, one-click confirmations dramatically increase engagement. Data preservation through soft deletes helps with analytics and limits. Trust is earned through transparent pricing and reliable reminders. Every missed appointment is a missed opportunity.
