Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Janis, the creator of Art Coding Lab. I built it because creative coding is often taught in one of two ways: You either watch a long tutorial and copy a finished project, or you jump between disconnected examples without knowing what to learn next. I wanted to create something more structured. Art Coding Lab is a step-by-step learning platform where complete beginners learn JavaScript and p5.js through small visual micro challenges. Instead of receiving a huge block of code, you: → learn one small idea → change a small piece of code → press Play → see the result immediately → continue to the next challenge The path starts with coordinates, shapes, colors and variables, then gradually moves into animation, interaction, generative art, trigonometry, particles, simulations, artificial life, computer vision and 3D worlds. The current version includes: • 65+ lessons • 650+ hands-on micro challenges • Creative Labs • Complete demo projects • Visual math explorations • A beginner-to-advanced learning path The goal is not to teach people how to copy visual effects. The goal is to help them understand how visual systems are built, so they can modify them, combine ideas and eventually create their own work. This is the first public launch, so I’d really appreciate honest feedback - especially about the learning experience, progression and anything that feels confusing or doesn’t work as expected. Would love a way to share my p5.js sketches directly from the editor with a simple link, maybe even a live preview embed so friends can remix them without needing to sign up first.

@bekirggcf Thanks, Bekir - this is actually the next major feature I’m planning for Art Coding Lab.

Registered users would be able to create, save, and share their sketches with a simple public link. Anyone could open the link, see the live preview, and experiment with the code without signing up, but an account would be required to save their own remix.
