Array is a native Mac workspace for coding agents. Claude Code, Codex and Pi side by side on one canvas, next to their terminals, browser previews and diffs, so you can see which one is working, done or failed. Each agent signs in with its own CLI, so the plan you already pay for just works. No API keys. Dictation built in on macOS 26. Free and open source (MIT). macOS 14+, Apple silicon. Alpha.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Dylan, and I made Array.
I've been building it since May, and it's been my main workspace since the first release in August, on my own projects and at work. Most of Array was built by agents running inside Array.
It started with terminal tabs. Since August, Array has run 479 agents for me across six projects, and on a busy day I start 20 or more. Before Array, that many agents meant that many tabs, and I kept asking the same three questions. Which tab was that? Which one finished? Which one failed twenty minutes ago and has been waiting for me since?
So every agent in Array is a tile on one canvas. Each project gets its own zone, and the agent's browser preview, diff and files sit right beside it. The tile tells you if it's working, done or failed, and so does the sidebar. Cmd+K jumps to any agent, file or zone.
What's in it today:
Agents
- Claude Code, Codex and Pi as native agent tiles. Each signs in with its own CLI, so it uses the plan you already pay for. Array never asks for an API key.
- Models come live from each CLI, so new ones show up as soon as the CLI has them.
- Follow up, steer or stop a turn, where the CLI supports it.
- Dictation in every composer, transcribed on your Mac (macOS 26).
- Agent colours, so you can tell them apart at a glance.
- Compaction for long conversations.
- Agents can hand work to a child agent in a visible tile beside them, and message each other.
- Built-in workspace tools: agents can open files on your canvas, arrange tiles and update the board. No MCP setup.
Canvas
- A zone per project, on one canvas.
- Cmd+K Command Center, keyboard navigation (jump to any zone with a number key) and Focus Mode.
- Activity Dock: every agent and its state in one list.
- Real Ghostty terminals for a shell, dev server, Neovim, the interactive Claude or Codex CLI, or any other command. They can keep running when you quit Array.
- Browser tiles for local previews, with an inspector (Elements, Console, Styles, Network).
- Editor with a file tree, diff review, and Markdown notes.
- A kanban board: drag a task onto an agent and send it with its description and images.
- Boards, notes and layout are plain files in your project's .array folder.
Mac
- Native Swift and AppKit, auto-updates, macOS 14+ on Apple silicon.
What it isn't yet: it's an alpha, it's Mac only, and it runs those three agents. It's free and MIT licensed, and the source is on GitHub.
I'd like to hear what breaks for you and what you'd want next.
