A fabric and trim library with supplier price comparisons would be huge for us, since sourcing those details outside the system still eats up time on every quote.

A centralized fabric and trim library with supplier pricing is definitely something I've been thinking about. I can see how having current supplier prices in the same place as the costing workflow would save a lot of time and reduce manual work when preparing quotes.

honestly looks like exactly what our production house needed, we still bounce between excel and three other tools which is honestly a nightmare. one thing that would be a game changer for us is some kind of WhatsApp or email integration so buyers can approve sample pics and quotes without logging into yet another portal

The constant switching between Excel, WhatsApp, email, and other tools is exactly the pain point that inspired ApparelOS.
I also love your idea about WhatsApp and email approvals. Making it easy for buyers to review sample photos and approve quotations without needing another login would create a much smoother workflow. Thanks for sharing such a practical suggestion!
Finally tried ApparelOS and the costing module stood out. Plugged in fabric, trims, and labor and it calculated margins faster than my usual Excel mess. Would love to see more reporting dashboards soon.

The costing module was one of the biggest priorities because so many manufacturers still rely on complex spreadsheets, so I'm really happy you found it faster and easier to use.
And yes, reporting and business dashboards are definitely an area I want to expand. I appreciate the feedback and hope to make the analytics even more valuable over time.
Finally tried ApparelOS and the costing module actually made sense without a 30 minute tutorial, which is rare for ERP software. Surprised how much it covers for apparel specifically.

One of my main goals was to build something that apparel businesses could start using without spending hours learning complicated ERP software. Keeping the interface simple while covering real manufacturing workflows has been a big focus.

Finally something purpose-built for garment makers, not a generic ERP shoved into the workflow. The costing module alone looks like it could replace the mess of spreadsheets I have going for every order.

That was exactly the goal behind ApparelOS to build software around the actual workflow of garment manufacturers instead of adapting a generic ERP.

Would love to see a supplier portal where fabric and trim vendors can update delivery ETAs and upload inspection photos directly, since chasing mills over WhatsApp eats up half my day.
