@ilya_koshelev1 Hi. The text is just copy/pasted in your text field like you would type it in. Our scanning works offline, so we need no 3rd part sever to process it.

This looks interesting but how's this different from a GBoard + Google Lens combination? With Google Lens, I can already scan and copy things mentioned in the video.

Firstly, our scanning solutions are based on OCR use cases we have developed over years, ensuring the highest accuracy that isn't guaranteed with alternatives. Some of these are currently unique to a Keyboard app (such as MRZ), and we aim to introduce more in the near future. You can see our full range of B2B solutions on our website. Another really important point for us is that once you download the Anyline Keyboard, it processes all data on-device, meaning that unlike other services, it will work offline. This makes it more flexible, and also ensures the highest data security.

I love the product but don't think I can use it given that you have to allow all keyboard access. Do you hold only the scanned/ocr text?

@johnbhiggins From the native settings keyboard always have to get full access but our app is 100% GDPR compliant.

Sounds like a cool idea even if it has some early accuracy issues. If a phone number or address is scanned will it prompt option to open my map app or place a phone call?

Liked the idea but it is taking too much time to scan the text. I saw the promo video and thought scanning would be super-fast but it didn't perform that way.

@aj002 We are sorry to hear this. At the moment we have specific scan modes for short combinations of uppercases and numbers. But we are planning to extend the variety of scan modes. Could you tell us which text you were trying to scan?

@daniel9yards: No need to say sorry :-). It is a starting point where you need feedback to make your product better. It was a text on medicine box. I used oneplus device.
