Not a chatbot wrapper — Anshin is a full self-reflection environment that runs entirely on your Mac. Guided Talk, Write, Plan and Breathe modes, plus structured tools: Thought Records, Mood Tracking, a Values Compass, a Worry Jar, a Grounding Toolkit and Unsent Letters. It learns your patterns across sessions and surfaces what you'd miss on your own — all stored encrypted on your device. No account, no cloud, no subscription. $39 once.

Runs locally and the Thought Records actually help me notice patterns I would have brushed past. Quietly surprised how much I used the Worry Jar.
@sleyman585188 Thanks a lot for trying it out!!
Spent a few minutes with the Grounding Toolkit and Worry Jar — honestly the breathing module caught me off guard, kind of pulled me out of a funk faster than I expected. Love that everything just lives on my laptop, feels like the kind of app I'll actually keep open.

The Grounding Toolkit genuinely surprised me with how calming the breathing exercises felt, and I appreciate that everything stays encrypted on my Mac without needing an account.
@fikretaholegd6 Thanks a lot for trying it out!!
every part was carefully curated
This is exactly the kind of offline-first privacy stance I want for something personal. The Worry Jar and Thought Records combo is clever. One thing that would make me more likely to keep coming back: a gentle weekly summary view that surfaces the patterns you mentioned noticing, maybe as a short letter back to me in plain language. Would help me actually sit with the trends instead of just collecting entries.

Love that it's local-first and actually a structured tool, not another chat wrapper. One thing that would make it stick for me: a gentle weekly summary that pulls together mood trends, recurring thought record themes, and values drift, so I can see the bigger picture without having to dig through everything myself.
