We built Anonmee because modern dating and stranger chat apps have become exhausting:

1. Superficial swiping: People are reduced to 3-second photo judgments and algorithmic attractiveness scores.

2. Privacy invasion: Most apps demand your real phone number, Instagram, contacts, and personal data before you can say a word.

3. Camera pressure: Video chats and selfie verification create unnecessary performance anxiety.

Anonmee is our answer to that: a 100% anonymous, text-first dating and chat platform for adults (18+).

Here’s our core philosophy:

• Zero profile photos: Chemistry should be based on banter, thoughts, and mutual intent—not photo angles.

• Zero real names or phone numbers: Every chat room assigns you a fresh, playful alias. You stay in complete control of your privacy.

• Mutual intent matching: Whether you want late-night confessions, casual romance, venting, or pure conversation, you only match with someone looking for the exact same thing.

• Ephemeral by default: No public chat logs, no digital footprints.

It is 100% free and runs in any modern browser on both mobile and desktop (built with Next.js, Fastify, and WebSockets).
