Anewaptitude: Story based aptitude tests and virtual job shadowing

Hey Product Hunt community! 👋 I built A New Aptitude after watching my kids explore their interests and realizing how hard it is for young people to understand what different careers actually entail day-to-day. The traditional approach of personality tests and abstract assessments wasn't cutting it. Instead, we present authentic stories about real work in various professions, stories that are almost like virtual job shadowing, then measure which information naturally "sticks" in your memory. The core insight: our brains tend to better retain information that aligns with our natural aptitudes, even on first exposure. Example: You might read about a forensic scientist using an electrostatic dust print lifter at a crime scene, then later be tested on what details you naturally remembered. High retention in certain professional domains might reveal aptitudes you never knew you had. We're launching with 100 jobs, with many more coming soon.
