This is definitely a big problem, congrats on building a solution! And a big thank you for ensuring compatibility with Geniuslink (full disclosure, I'm a founder)! However, could you share a bit more about how the plugin works? If I'm not mistaken the service crawls a site and resolves the links it believes to be Amazon links to check if they are "working". Is that correct? The reason I bring this up is that I believe that this process of detecting broken Amazon links is putting all of your users' Amazon accounts at risk. :-( Buried deep in the Policies section of Amazon's Operating Agreement for the Amazon.com Associates Program you'll find this: 6. Content on your Site (s) You will not artificially generate clicks or impressions on your Site or create Sessions on an Amazon Site, whether by way of a robot or software program or otherwise If you haven't connected with an Account Manager at the Associates Program to review how your plugin works I'd encourage you to do that soon! Upsetting Amazon or having your users get in trouble with Amazon is not good! I hope I'm wrong about how the tool works, but if not, I hope the notes are helpful! Hi @jesselakes, Thanks for your comment, I appreciate the feedback! This means a lot coming from you. Indeed, we are well aware that there is a policy that forbids to affiliates to artificially generate clicks to Amazon. Which is why we’ve split this into completely separate processes, which results into us having the site crawl totally separate from scraping amazon listings. On top of that, we scrape ASINs only, i.e. we remove any identifying information from the links themselves(like referrer, affiliate ids and other identifiers). Besides, 3rd party integrations help a bit as well ;) As for the rest of Amazon's Operating Agreement for the Amazon.com Associates Program, we are not storing any data from Amazon which might put us or our users at risk right now. However you know Amazon's tricky policies better than anyone, so thanks for the tip, we've been planning to start with working with them directly :) I loved seeing that you solved this issue on your end and have this as a feature of GeniusLink. Having been a long-time customer of yours, I want to thank you for building such a great product. One question though. How does this exact feature work at GeniusLink? My intuition tells me that either you have a really good deal on your Product Advertising API or there’s some scraping (by you or a 3rd party) involved as well.. Cheers, Serge

Hey @sergey_shlykov1, Well played! That set up / process makes a lot of sense. We use the Amazon PA API for our "Link Health" tool. We are already a major consumer of the service for the link translation aspect and checking the products status / inventory level is just paying attention to a few more of the values coming through.
