Curious how the memory actually works in practice since there's no signup or account. Does it remember me across different sessions or devices, or do I start fresh each time?
@hayrunnisat5lyΒ Great question. Each device saves its own AmicoAI locally β it's a deliberate design choice. Every AmicoAI is unique because its personality is randomly generated at the start, and then it adapts to you through your conversations.
So no, it won't remember you across different devices. Different phone or browser? You start from scratch. Same device, same browser? It remembers everything β the data stays right there in the browser cache. Clear your cache or use incognito mode, and you're back to square one.
That's the trade-off for privacy: no accounts, no cloud, no centralized memory. But the upside is that each instance is truly yours β and only yours.
Tried it for a few minutes and the memory thing actually works, it brought up something I mentioned earlier without me prompting. Feels less like a tool and more like texting someone who pays attention.
