I built a few small tools around how I like to work on my Mac every day, and after using them for a while I thought other people might find them useful too.

Hey, I'm Matthew.
I built these tools to improve the workflow on my Mac. I always have way too many windows open, my Downloads folder is a mess, and my Mac kept going to sleep while an agent was still working through a task. I had a different app for each of those, a couple of them hadn't been updated in years, and most did a lot more than I needed. It was easier for me just to build small tools around these problems, so over the last few weeks I made the versions I actually wanted. Now I use them every day:
Dock lets you throw a window to the edge of the screen, where it sits as a small tab until you need it again. I use it all the time to tidy up terminal windows
Drop is a shelf on the side of the screen for files and links you're dragging between apps
Awake keeps the Mac from sleeping for as long as you tell it to, and lets go if the battery gets low
Convert compresses, converts or resizes files from the right-click menu in Finder, and leaves the original alone
Sort tidies a folder into Images, Documents and so on, and you can undo it if you don't like the result
They're free and you don't need an account. None of them upload your files anywhere. If you like them and want to support the work, there's an optional ALT Plus subscription ($9.99/month) that adds one extra feature to each app. I wanted the free versions to be properly useful on their own, though, not cut down to push people to pay.
They also work with Shortcuts and the terminal, which I mostly added for myself, but it means you can build a Shortcut like "keep the Mac awake until 6pm", or let an agent sort a folder for you.
I'd love to hear what you think, and whether you find them useful.
