Alongside helps you learn better AI workflows while building in Codex or Claude Code. Get practical guidance on prompts, context and debugging, understand why another approach may help, and save useful lessons privately in your project. Learn through the work you’re already doing.
What real task does your product handle with GPT-6 Astra?

I used GPT-6 Astra to ideate and build Alongside, a companion for people building software with AI coding agents. Alongside steps in at the moments builders get stuck. When debugging starts going in circles, it suggests a better experiment. When an agent recommends a big change, like a new database or framework, it asks about constraints first. The builder can save what worked as a short learning card and choose to share it with a moderated public library.
Astra was my build partner throughout. It helped me shape the idea, write the credited five-part guidance cards, and build the website, consent flow, moderation tooling and API.
Alongside itself doesn't depend on any one model. It works inside your existing coding agent, whichever you use. It's an early preview, and public plugin installation comes next.

I’m building Alongside because AI can help us ship faster, but understanding how to work well with it still takes practice.
Alongside brings short explanations and practical suggestions into your existing Codex or Claude Code project. The goal is to help you make progress and understand why an approach works.
This early version includes curated guidance and private project memory. A continuously updated shared recommendation library is still being developed. I’d love to hear where the guidance helps and where it interrupts more than it contributes.
